I’m not sure what to do. I’ve had my Sony Cybershot camera for about two years now and all of the sudden it won’t turn on. I’ve tried different batteries and even plugging it into the wall outlet, but nothing seems to work.
The little green light that normally comes on when you push the power button is off and I can’t get it to come back on no matter what I do. Has anyone else had this problem? Do you know how to fix it?
Are you having trouble with your Sony Cybershot camera? If it won’t turn on, there are a few things you can try to get it working again.
First, make sure that the batteries are properly installed and that they have enough power.
If the batteries are low, replace them with fresh ones. If the camera still won’t turn on, try resetting it by removing the battery and memory card, then replacing them after a few seconds. If neither of these solutions work, your camera may need service.

Why Won’T My Sony Cybershot Camera Turn on
There are a few potential reasons why your Sony Cybershot camera won’t turn on. The first thing you should check is the battery. If the battery is dead, the camera won’t turn on.
Make sure the battery is properly charged and inserted into the camera. Another possibility is that the lens is obstructed. If something is blocking the lens, the camera won’t be able to turn on.
Remove any objects that might be in front of or around the lens. It’s also possible that there’s a problem with the camera’s firmware. Firmware issues can cause all sorts of problems, including preventing the camera from turning on.
Try updating your firmware to see if that fixes the problem.

If so, then there may be an issue with the display screen or another internal component.
You can also try resetting the camera by removing and reinserting the battery while holding down the power button for 30 seconds. If none of these troubleshooting steps work, then you will likely need to take your camera in for repairs.
